About Pamela Walton Jenkins, MA:
Pamela Walton Jenkins, MA is a graduate of Argosy University where she received a masters in Community Counseling. She completed an internship at Spelman College Counseling, Disability and Psychological Center where she provided individual, family and group counseling, as well as disability assessment /modification counseling. She also actively led several suicide prevention groups in the residence community and continues to conduct various student workshops, which include anxiety reduction and time management.
Before returning to school to further her education, Ms. Jenkins was a flight attendant of 13 years for Delta Airlines, where she developed a passion for the unique lifestyle challenges of flight crews. Much of her program research focused on issues relevant to in-flight employees, such as stress management, post traumatic stress disorder, issues in ethnic and cultural diversity, and family/career choices. Other areas of interest include: depression & anxiety, personal empowerment, grief and loss, and personality disorders.
Ms. Jenkins is a member of the Licensed Professional Counseling Association of Georgia (LPCA), the Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International, Chi Sigma Iota, and the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA).
